Warsaw, Poland, Wednesday 3rd June 2026: Anna Balan, Head of CargoBooking at Awery Aviation Software, has received the Rising Star Award from The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) at the TIACA Executive Summit 2026 in Warsaw.

The award recognises professionals under the age of 35 who demonstrate excellence, innovation, and significant contribution to their organisation and the wider air cargo industry.

Anna leads the development of CargoBooking, powered by Awery — an instant air cargo rate distribution, quotation, and booking platform that connects airline capacity and freight forwarder demand in real time, using artificial intelligence and automation to reduce manual processes and improve data accuracy across the supply chain.

Under Anna's leadership, CargoBooking has advanced automation and transparency in air cargo booking workflows, enabling airlines and freight forwarders to manage capacity and demand more efficiently through a single connected platform.

The TIACA Rising Star Award was presented during the Executive Summit as part of the association's annual programme celebrating excellence and leadership across the global air cargo community.
