London, United Kingdom, Tuesday 8th September 2026: Awery Aviation Software (Awery) has appointed Cornelia Korsch as Global Development Director for Awery and CargoBooking, the digital air cargo quoting and booking platform. 

Korsch will be responsible for bringing additional airlines and capacity to CargoBooking, while increasing adoption across the freight forwarding community.

“CargoBooking combines smart, AI-powered tools with a simple and efficient booking experience, making it easier for airlines to put their capacity in front of forwarders and for forwarders to find and book the capacity they need,” said Korsch.

“I’m looking forward to bringing my experience with airlines and technology providers to CargoBooking and working across the air cargo community to help them reach more customers and maximise the opportunities that digital distribution can offer.”

Korsch brings more than 30 years of air cargo experience spanning airline sales, air cargo technology, and business development.

Her previous roles include global airline partnership roles at WebCargo by Freightos and AirBridgeCargo Airlines, as well as more than 20 years at Cargolux Airlines.

Awery recently announced the appointment of senior air cargo executive Gianluca Marcangelo as Executive Vice President of Global Sales, strengthening its commercial team as it continues to expand globally.
